Guest Dinner with Chef Jassimran Singh
Crown Shy - New York city
Michelin Star since 2019
December 13th | 6:30 p.m.
ABOUT CHEF JASSIMRAN SINGH | CROWN SHY
Located on the ground floor of the Art Deco landmark building at 70 Pine Street in Manhattan’s Financial District, Crown Shy is a neighborhood restaurant elevated by fine dining cooking technique and purposeful friendly service. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star just six months after opening in 2019 and has maintained it every year since. The food at Crown Shy is rooted in European technique but draws inspiration from around the world, primarily the flavors from our childhoods, traveling, and the diverse cuisine in New York City. Chef Jassimran was born in India and trained in Australia. To Chef Jass, New York is everything. Not the polished, postcard version. The real one. The city that’s loud and layered, where cultures collide and food tells the truth. That’s what Crown Shy stands for. It’s why Biggie Smalls is on the wall. It’s why the staff looks like the city itself. And it’s why the dishes feel like they’ve got a point of view. James Kent believed in that version of New York. So does Chef Jass. And they built a restaurant that doesn’t posture—it breathes.
Join us at Rooster & the Till as we welcome some of our favorite chefs into our kitchen, share their stories, and see what happens when their food meets ours. Pick your night — or join us for all three — and grab your seat at the table.
