Web Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Proper House Group and its restaurant concepts are committed to ensuring that our websites are accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that all guests deserve equal access to information about our restaurants, menus, events, and services, regardless of the technology or assistive tools they use.

We are actively working to achieve and maintain conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Standards We Follow

Our target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines are organized around four principles — content must be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust for all users, including those who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control software, refreshable Braille displays, or other assistive technologies.

Accessible Menus

All food and beverage menus on this site are available as accessible, screen-reader-compatible documents. Menu files are formatted as tagged, text-based PDFs with proper heading structure, selectable text, and document metadata including language and title — not image scans or untagged files.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following issues on our websites and are actively working to resolve them:

•       Focus indicators — visible keyboard focus outlines are being restored across all interactive elements

•       Decorative icons — SVG icons are being marked aria-hidden so screen readers skip them

•       Heading structure — page heading hierarchy is being corrected to a single H1 per page

•       New-tab links — links that open in a new window are being labeled to notify users in advance

•       Page title — browser tab titles are being updated to include the concept name and page context

 

Despite our ongoing efforts, some content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We treat accessibility as a continuous process and address identified issues on an ongoing, prioritized basis.

Third-Party Content

Some functionality on our websites — including reservation systems, online ordering, and social media integrations — is provided by third-party platforms. While we cannot directly control the accessibility of third-party tools, we are committed to selecting vendors and partners who prioritize accessibility and to advocating for improvements where barriers exist.

This statement was last reviewed and updated on April 6, 2026. Proper House Group reviews and updates this statement at least every 12 months, and following any significant changes to our websites. Periodic accessibility audits are conducted to identify and prioritize remediation.
